Bajingan is a Javanese and Indonesian word used to refer to a person who does something irresponsible. The closest meaning of Bajingan in English is bastard or scumbag. Bajingan is a swear word considered impolite in both Javanese and Indonesian. However, in close company, it is generally considered a joke with no harsh meaning.
Bajingan in ordinary version[edit]
Outside of the pejorative meaning, Bajingan is cow wagon or ox cart driver in Java Island, a respected profession in the traditional culture of transportation history.
In present-day Indonesia, several Bajingan festivals in diverse locations include them and their ox wagons.
