Balaam Barugahara Ateenyi commonly known as Balaam (born in July 28th, 1979) is a Ugandan business man, music and events promoter and Politician.[1][2][3][4][5]
He is the founder Balaam Marketing and Promotions Agency Limited.[6][7][8]
Early Life and Education[edit]
Balaam was born in Mbarara hospital in the western region of Uganda region to the late Davidson Balaam Byenkya Akiiki and Brown Abwooli.[9][10] He attended Namasagali School and St. John Bosco Senior Secondary School for O level and Original Progressive Senior Secondary School for A’level.[11] Balaam enrolled at Makerere University for Bachelor of Commerce where he majored in Marketing, after, he did a Master of Business Administration (Marketing Option) at Cavendish University.[9] [12]He has 13 siblings and he is the fifth child. His late father had 14 children.[9]
Awards and Honors[edit]
- On February 21, 2023, Balaam was awarded a Honorary Doctorate in humanity from Zoe Life Theological College, USA.[13][14]
