Balaji Viswanathan, Valady Viswanathan[1] Balaji Viswanathan (Tamil:பாலாஜி விஸ்வநாதன்; Devanāgarī: बालाजी विश्वनाथन); is an Indian writer, author, entrepreneur and engineer[2] who presently lives in Bengaluru. He is popularly known for his answers and posts on the question-and-answer site Quora.[3] He has been the top-writer (on Quora) of the year(s) 2013, 2014, 2015 2016 and 2017 with over 20 articles published on Forbes, Slate, Business Insider and other places.[4] He is the author of From Tryst to Tendulkar: The History of Independent India, a book on the history of contemporary India[5]

Balaji is the founder of NalandaU,[6] CEO & co-founder of Be Limtless Inc[7] and Zingfin.com. He joined Microsoft after graduation as Software Design Engineer in Test. Presently, he is the VP of products at Invento and product manager at Black Duck Software.[8][9]
