Baller Alert is a US-based online mass media company.[1] It operates the celebrity gossip website balleralert.com which has the strapline "For Women Who Want the Ballerific Life."[2][3]
The company was founded by Robin Lyon in 2008.[4] BallerAlert is located in Miami, Florida.

The company was nominated in the BET Social Awards for the Best Tea in 2018. This is awarded to "the media outlet with the best gossip", voted for by fans.[5][6] The sponsor BET Networks operates television channels targeted at an African-American audience.[5]

A case was filed against this company and its owner by Dimitri Patterson, in the United States District Court alleging defamation and other charges.[7][8]
