Bandala(Punjabi: ਬੰਡਾਲਾ) is largest and oldest village situated in Amritsar district, majha region , State Punjab. West side of Village Bandala is connected on NH-54 highway and East Side of village Bandala is connected to Jandiala-Tarn Taran Sahib road and has an altitude of 772ft (235m). All hundal [2] gotra in Punjab belongs to this village.

Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) believe that village is 326 bc [3] (2347 year) old. After finding huge wall of identicals bricks under 20 feet, the archaeologist team informed that these bricks belongs to kushana period. they have also found pottery, bones and burnt bricks. Due to old structure of bricks , pottery Archaeologist beleve that Alexandra the Great stopped here in 326 bc. Script error: No such module "AfC submission catcheck".
