Barbecue Records is an Australian independant music company specialising in House, Techno and Nu Disco recordings, compilation albums, events, publishing, radio station and magazine.[1]

History[edit]
The music label division was founded in 2013 by Faustine Pinto and Jerome Ferrara.[1] It was first established in France, then in Spain and now in Australia.[1]
Underground oriented, in August 2020 Barbecue Records was composed of sixty artists[1] and 150 releases.[2] Early 2020 Barbecue Records launched two new divisions, Physical Radio and Machine Mechanics.
The BBQ Radio Show[edit]
In 2018 the company started its own radio show, the BBQ Radio Show[3], broadcast weekly on Kiss Fm Australia from June 2018 to February 2020 and then on Physical Radio from February 2020 to today. The show is presented by Faustine Pinto and DJ Eddison. In August 2020 the BBQ Radio Show counted 118 shows[4] and reached a world wide audience of up to 2 million people.

Physical Radio[edit]
Physical Radio was launched in February 2020, the radio station broadcasts online worldwide. The programming is composed of International DJs, local DJs, Music Labels, Music Venues as well as a music rotation of Chill Out, Deep House, Afro House, House, Nu Disco, Tech House, Techno and Trance music. The Radio station is more listened in Australia, Spain, Germany, United Kingdom and France and reached a world wide audience of up to 115 000 monthly unique listeners.[25] The radio station can be listened online or through the Ios and Android app.

Machine Mechanics[edit]
Machine mechanics was launched in January 2020, it's made up of a bimonthly online magazine talking about the underground music scene, a public relation division and a music video production division.[26]

Barbecue Records holds regular events in Sydney and Melbourne. Due to Covid-19 and the Australian Government policy, there are not any new event scheduled at this time.
