Battery Recyclers of America
Battery Recyclers of America,[1] a minority business enterprise (MBE), is a battery recycling management and logistics company founded in 2009 in Texas. They are known for EPA-approved battery recycling services across all 50 states.
History[edit]
Battery Recyclers of America is Texas-based, headquarters in Dallas. Originally, the company operated exclusively in Texas under the name "Battery Recyclers of Texas." Due to rapid growth, they quickly expanded their reach to all 50 states, offering recycling for all batteries in an EPA-approved or environmentally conscious way. In 2015, the Dallas / Fort Worth National Minority Supplier Development Council[2] awarded Battery Recyclers of America the MBE certification.[3]

Household Batteries and Local Recycling[edit]
Local health agencies, the environmental health department, and local organizations coordinate drop-off locations for these batteries. NSF International[4][5], the Public Health and Safety Organization[6], identified Battery Recyclers of America as a local organization coordinating these efforts. [7] In West Palm Beach, Florida, the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County[8] partners with Battery Recyclers of America for local battery recycling.[9]
Battery Recyclers of America is a member company of Earth911[10], the largest recycling database and company directory in North America[11]. Other member companies include Batteries Plus Bulbs, Home Depot, Best Buy, and Recycle Revolution.
