Biography[edit | edit source]
Michael "Beast Mode" Vlaicu began his career gaming in Starcraft, and Starcraft: Brood War under the clan ::LD::, and later Montreal's X'Ds~, where he primarely played Zerg. BeastModeGG burst into stardom during the launch of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos in 2002, when he obtained a solo ladder record of 157-12. He was one of the pioneers of "Tower Rushing" in RTS games, as he would kill the highest level creep in the early stages of the game on his route to claiming victory against his opponents. From there he moved onto Diablo 2, but really only played Diablo 3 competitively, where he would become the first in the world to defeat the Diablo Uber boss teaming with infamous Youtuber kripparrian. He is often found playing games with his followers, and primarily his subscribers on Twitch. He is accredited with being one of the first people in the world to create a Nintendo 64 page on early stages of Netscape. At the age of 21 he sold a website "amilionoptions.com" to Visa for their prepaid cards marketing campaign, "One Card. A Million Options."
Currently he is streaming on Twitch and playing Overwatch, Fortnite and Elder Scrolls Online.
