Belawon village is a Large Size Village in Arwal district in the state of Bihar, India under Magadh division. Belawon is a 200 year old historical village and its living proof is Belawon has an old historical Thakurbari, which is situated at the mid portion of the village in Yadav-Toli, on the way to the Sone River and the eastern bank of the Son River. The nearby market for this village is Kaler. National Highway NH139 which connects Rajhara town of Palamu district to Patna passes through Kaler. Belawon was founded by the grandparents of Late Shri Rajeshwar Singh Yadav. Late Shri Rajeshwar Singh Yadav is known for his clear vision for development, whether for his family, village or for the public; and it is said that while living in very poor economic conditions he helped his children grow by giving them the tool of education.

Festivals
It is one of the cultural towns of Bihar, where Hindu community are in the majority followed by Muslim.
