Bernard A. Flynn

Bernard A. Flynn (born 8 January 1964) is an entrepreneur, businessman, investor and founder of a number of consultancy and advisory companies.[1] These companies operate mainly in the areas of strategy, optimisation, innovation and creativity, working across a number of sectors in Europe, Asia and the Americas.[citation needed]

He is founder of Katawave, BeChange, Red Planet, Promech, Ideaz, Black Swan Global, Synecco and is a principal investor in Grid Finance.[2]

Flynn is a sponsor of the cross Atlantic challenge,[3][4][not in citation given] and has participated in several ironman challenges.[4]

Business career[edit]

Flynn pioneered "lean optimisation" and innovation consultancy companies. He founded and developed a number of strategy, supply chain, optimisation and innovation companies.[citation needed]

These companies include Red Planet Ventures, which Flynn founded and sold to Deloitte in 2017.[5]

Other companies associated with Flynn included BeChange, Promech, Synecco, Ideaz, Global Blackswan, Boomerang Investments and Katawave. Katawave works with clients to "re-imagine Corporate, Business unit or Product Strategies".[1]
