Since 1981, the firm has litigated complex civil and white collar criminal matters nationwide. Civil practice areas include appellate, class actions, commercial litigation, employment, entertainment, fraud, Qui Tam, civil RICO, intellectual property, health care litigation, lawyers and law firms, municipalities and government entities, real estate, and securities litigation. Criminal practice areas include business and financial crimes, environmental and OSHA crimes, health care fraud and regulatory enforcement, internal investigations, and securities fraud and insider trading.[1]

Bird Marella was founded in 1981 by two former Assistant United States Attorneys, Terry Bird and Vincent Marella. The firm has since grown to include a number of former judicial clerks and Assistant United States Attorneys and handles a widespread area of commercial issues.
