Bishwa Prakash Sharma is Nepalese politician belonging to the governing party of Nepal, The Nepali Congress.[1][2] He is a influential youth leader and scholar.[3] He was elected to central committee member of the party in 2014.[4][5] He is closest youth in the party to party president and incumbent Prime minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba and so was picked spokesperson of the party by him in 2017.[6][7]

Personal life[edit]

Born in Dhulibari, Jhapa in 1971, Sharma was interested in politics from his early age and went to jail for the first time when he was just in class 9 and president of school committee of Dhulibari School.[8][9]

He also runs a TV program Aaina (English:Mirror) on a private TV channel Kantipur Television.[10] It depicts problems existing in Nepalese society and their possible solutions. This show is often termed as mirror to Nepalese society.[11]

Sharma is married and has two children.[8]

Political life[edit]

Sharma born on 6 Poush 2027 came to politics in his early age. He was jailed for the first time in 2040 when he was president of NSU committee of Dhulibari School, Jhapa and studying in class 9.[8] In 2057, he was elected to national President of Nepal Student Union, which is the biggest student political wing in Nepal.[12] On 14 March 2016 he was elected to central committee of Nepali Congress Party[13] and was selected Spokesperson in 2018.[6]Sharma remind regularly in news articles of National dalies due to party portfolio and popularity.[14] In 2074, he was to fight against former Prime minister of Nepal KP Sharma Oli but the party choosed him to fight another constituency.[15] This left many disappointed.
