Blind Sun is a stoner rock band from Athens, Greece, formed in 2016 as Once in A Wild. Their current lineup consists of lead vocalist Xanthippie Papadopoulou, lead guitarist and backing vocalist Marios Kassianos, rhythm guitarist Kostas Kotsiras, bassist Nick Tountas, and drummer Kostas Papakostas.
The band started in 2016, as Once in A Wild.[1] with only two of the current members, Marios Kassianos and Kostas Kotsiras, and it was a three member band, with Angelos Psilas on the drums. The following year, Nick Tountas joined the band on bass guitar, and Kostas Kotsiras took the role of rhythm guitar. The band remained with that lineup until 2018 when Xanthippie Papadopoulou filled in the role of lead singer, and the band name changed to Supersonic Fox[1]. They performed live in various venues in Athens, Greece, with this name[2][3], until they changed their name to Blind Sun in 2020.
To date, Blind Sun has released a single debut studio album titled Under Them Stones, recorded in 2020 in Made in Hell studio and released in 2022. They performed the album live on a release party on May 5th, 2022 in Temple club in Athens, Greece[4]
