Blueprint Registry is a Seattle based online gift registry platform connecting retailers and brands with users. It allows users to search and buy gifts for a specific life event from a variety of retailers on one website.[1]
The company has been featured in national and local media including, The New York Times,[2] Forbes, Inc.,[3] Entrepreneur Magazine,[4] The Seattle Times[1] and GeekWire.com.[5]
Blueprint Registry was founded in New York City by Nevin Shetty and Lizzy Ellingson in May 2013. The company launched its first product, an online wedding registry service, in February 2014. In June 2016, Blueprint Registry was selected and participated in Target’s first-ever accelerator program in partnership with Techstars.[6][7]
Blueprint Registry's first round of investment was secured in November 2014 by a consortium of angel investors. Additional capital was secured in November 2016 by a consortium of angel investors.[5]
