Bob Martin (7 June 1922, Krasnoyarsk, Russian SFSR – 13 January 1998, Vienna, Austria), born Leo Heppe, was an Austrian singer.[1]
Eurovision Song Contest 1957[edit]
He represented Austria at the 1957 Eurovision Song Contest held in Frankfurt, Germany, in the country's debut entry. He was not, however, the first Austrian to perform at the contest, as his compatriot Freddy Quinn represented Germany in 1956.[2] Martin performed fifth at the contest with the song "Wohin, kleines Pony?" (Where to, Little Pony?) but placed last of the ten entrants. He received three points in total - one from the Netherlands and two from the United Kingdom.[3]
