Bonito Designs is an online home interior design platform in India, currently operating in Bangalore, Karnataka. The company was founded in 2012 by Sameer AM, Vathsala Rangegowda, and Rickson D’Souza.[1]

Vathsala Rangegowda was a designer working with the Future Group and Sameer was working as a software engineer and a real estate broker. The two teamed up with Rickson D’Souza and started Bonito in 2012.[2]
The company is headquartered in Bangalore and has over 220 employees.
In September 2019, the company appointed Gabriel Gil as its senior design mentor, who was formerly working at ASTAD Project Management in Qatar, and collaborated with AIESEC, a not-for-profit organization, to create a knowledge-sharing platform for national and international designers. The company also partners with academic institutions like NIFT and LISAA.[3]

The company received $6.3 million in a Pre-Series A funding round in March 2019 led by Tomorrow Capital.[4][5]
