Pretoria, South Africa
💼 Occupation

Bradley Steyn was born in Pretoria, South Africa during the height of the Apartheid Struggle. Domestic terrorism and security issues were a daily part of life. At seventeen he bore witness to the shooting massacre in Strijdom Square on Church Street in Pretoria, South Africa perpetrated by Barend Strydom during the Apartheid conflicts. [1]

Bradley honored the memory of the victims of the Strijdom Square Massacre on November 15, 2018 by reading aloud the names of the victims who lost their lives that day, eight in total, which he personally discovered through independent research.

[2]

After Bradley left school at age 17 he was enlisted in the South African Navy. After being discharged, he found employment in the underground nightlife of Cape Town's Clubland, where he was recruited by the apartheid Security Branch in a 'brutal crackdown on activists'. Bradley, finding himself on the wrong path for his own redemption, joined the African National Congress' Department of Intelligence and Security, and spent two years spying on the White right-wing until a bounty was placed on his head.[3]
