Chukwuebuka Amuzie (born 5 February 1995), popularly known as Brain Jotter, is a Nigerian comedian, actor, writer, and social media influencer.[1] He was ranked as the 5th Greatest Comedian in its Nigeria Top 2022 list of skitmakers.[2] His accolades include the NET Honour as the first-ever Breakout Social Creator Of The Year.[3]

Early life and education[edit]

Amuzie was born in Owerri, the capital of Imo State Nigeria.[4] He attended Owerre Primary School in Delta State for his primary education. He was enrolled in Delta State Secondary School in Delta State. After completing his secondary education, he gained admission to University of Lagos, where he studied Business administration.[5]

Comedy career[edit]

Brain Jotter began his comedy career in 2018 when he was in college,[6] In 2020, he gained prominence in the comedy industry through the posting of his fond of getting angry and leaving the scene in his comedy videos on social media.[7] Some of his skits have featured other Nigerian comedians, such as Mr Funny, Nons Miraj, Don Jazzy and Bovi, and also performed alongside with them. He is the brand ambassador of Crypto currency and digital assets company, The Shawn Exchange.[8]
