Breezango is a professional wrestling tag team performing in WWE under the SmackDown brand, composed of Tyler Breeze and Fandango.[1] The name is a portmanteau of Breeze and Fandango.
History[edit]
On the April 14 episode of SmackDown, Fandango would team with Goldust in the WWE Tag Team Championship number one contenders tournament, after Goldust told R-Truth, his original partner, that they would not be teaming together, where they were defeated by The Vaudevillains in the first round. On the April 21 episode of SmackDown, Fandango faced off against R-Truth with Goldust as the special referee, R-Truth won the match. The following week, Goldust and Fandango become an official tag team dubbed "Goldango", while R-Truth teamed with Tyler Breeze as "The Gorgeous Truth".[2][3] On the May 2 episode of Raw, Breeze defeated Goldust after interference by Truth.[4] On the May 12 episode of SmackDown, Goldango faced The Gorgeous Truth which ended in a no-contest when Breeze and Fandango turned on their partners after R-Truth and Goldust refused to fight each other. This resulted in Fandango aligning with Tyler Breeze, turning heel once again in the process.[5] Now dubbed as "Breezango", Breeze and Fandango teamed together to defeat Golden Truth (Goldust and R-Truth) the week after on Raw.[6] Breezango however lost at Money in the Bank, because they went into the match suffering from bad burns, caused by R-Truth adjusting the dial on their tanning machine. On the July 11 episode of Raw, Breezango defeated The Lucha Dragons. On the July 19th episode of Smackdown the WWE Draft occurred and the pair were drafted to Smackdown on the Draftcenter live special that took place after the show. On July 24 at the Battleground pre-show, Breezango defeated The Usos (Jimmy and Jey) in a tag-team match.[7]
