Brent's T.V. is an American rock and roll band from Arcata California.

History[edit]

Brent's T.V. was a band formed in Arcata California by Humboldt State University students John Denery, Chris Imlay, Virgil Shaw and Brian Keeney in 1988, an soon added Jon Quittner on bass guitar.

The band was known for playing and even touring in laundromats, and released a 7 song EP, "Lumberjack Days" on Lookout Records in 1990, went on a short tour in the pacific Northwest with Green Day, and split soon after. In 1995 Lookout released a compilation of Sweet Baby & Brent's T.V. songs called "Hello Again." They reunited in January 2017 to play a benefit for the 924 Gilman Street Project.[1][2][3]

In recent years Lookout Records founder Larry Livermore occasionally sites the Brent's T.V. Lumberjack Days 7" as one of the things he was most happy to have released.[4][5]
