Brian Schiedel (born January 10, 1985) is an American professional wrestler, wrestling manager and internet personality, who is better known by his ring name Brian Zane. He also runs and maintains a YouTube channel called Wrestling With Wregret, which currently has over 200,000 subscribers.
Career[edit]
After being trained under the tutelage of Buddy Rose and Ed Wiskoski, Schiedel made his debut on the 27th of June 2004, under the ring name of Brian Zane, defeating Jason Maliki.Cite error: Invalid <ref>
tag; invalid names, e.g. too many He also wrestled matches against the likes of Mustapha Saed and Pysdsuo[2][3]He continued to wrestle in and around the Portland area until 2007, when he begin to transition away from the ring and into a managerial role.[4]
Manager and YouTube success[edit]
Zane went on to manage several teams in California based promotion All Pro Wrestling, most recently The Classic Connection, whom he lead to an APW Tag Team Championship.[5]They lost the titles to Lion Power on May 6 2017 in a three on two handicap match in which Zane himself was also involved. This marked his first match in nearly 5 years.[6]
In 2013, Schiedel created the YouTube channel Wrestling With Wregret, where he makes editorials taking a satirical look at strange and embrassing moments of wrestling past along with other videos such as vlogs and reviews. The channel has amassed over 200,000 subscribers and is one of the most popular wrestling channels on the website.
