Brightstar partners

From EverybodyWiki Bios & Wiki

BrightStar Partners, Inc is a performance management consulting firm.

Founded in 2004 by former Cognos (now part of IBM Corporation) employees Andrew Rachmiel and Neil Morgan, in 2005 BrightStar Partners acquired several performance management web communities. COGNOiSe.com[1] continues to be the largest following within the portfolio of worldwide, peer-to-peer communities. The site is entirely dedicated to IBM Cognos software, both technically and functionally.

In 2006, the owners of BrightStar partners created a software division, BSP Software LLC,[2] to focus on implementation-based software offerings. In 2008, BrightStar Partners was featured on The Economic Report,[3][citation needed] when the show filmed a segment on Business Performance Management (BPM).

In 2009, BrightStar Partners was listed by Inc. Magazine as number 1,521 in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.[citation needed] In 2010, BrightStar Partners was again listed by Inc. Magazine as number 2,751 in the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.[citation needed]

In October 2012 BrightStar Partners and BSP Software Solutions were acquired by Avnet.[4]
