Brooke Saward
Brooke Saward (born September 3, 1991) is an author and a travel and lifestyle blogger, best known for her website and book World of Wanderlust (WOW). The website serves as an online platform that offers travel and lifestyle tips, DIY projects, recipes and reflections from life in Australia. Saward is founder and creative director of WOW & Co Pty Ltd, which manages World of Wanderlust, Charlie's Dessert House, and NØRD Brand Management. Saward has collaborated with different global hotel, fashion, and technology brands including Hilton Hotels and GoPro.[citation needed]
Early life and education[edit]
Saward was born and raised in Tasmania, Australia where she lived most of her life. She has two sibling and is the middle child. She studied International Relations and Affairs at the University of Tasmania where she received her bachelor's degree.[citation needed]
Career[edit]
Saward's career started when she graduated from University of Tasmania; she initially booked a one-way ticket to London, UK and since then she has traveled to over one hundred countries. She started blogging prior to her trip as a hobby and her first career opportunity was an invitation from a hotel asking if she wanted to visit and blog about her stay.
Saward traveled for over six months before World of Wanderlust was launched on December 2012. WOW is an online travel website that offers tips and suggestions for those looking to live a more adventurous life. WOW has since grown to an audience of 700,000 unique visitors[1] and one million page views per month. World of Wanderlust Instagram @worldwanderlust attracts over half a million followers.
Saward has since released a World of Wanderlust app[2] and published a book on 31 October 2016 called World of Wanderlust[3] that offers advice and tips for all types of travellers. It's also a platform where fans can read more about her story and get inspired to travel. The book[4] contains insider tips from road trip rules to airport fashion, offering guides of where to go, what to do and how to get that holiday feeling without even leaving home. World of Wanderlust also contains many photographs featuring some of Saward's favorite places around the world such as Paris, New York City, London and many more.
Her series of eBooks includes -- The World of Wanderlust Story,[4] How To Create A Successful Blog,[5] and The Solo Travel Guidebook.[6]
In October 2016, Saward opened a bakery called Charlie's Dessert House, in Launceston, Tasmania. The goal of the bakery is to offer a refined all-day patisserie where people can meet for the two most important meals breakfast and dessert. The bakery gained a lot of social media importance since it opened, accomulating nearly 4,000 followers[7] on Instagram.

She's been featured on big publications such as -- the Australian National Geographic[8] April 2016 section, Glamour magazine May 2016 section, Chloe Magazine July 2015 selection to many other ones. She had her own articles featured in many different outlets such as Elle US Magazine,[9] Huffington post,[10] Elite Daily,[8] Examiner[disambiguation needed].[11]
Afar from being on different media platforms, Saward has also been awarded Skyscanner's Travel Blog of the Year, USA Today's Top 10 Luxury Travel Bloggers[12] and Nomination: Bloglovin' Newcomer of the Year.[13]
