Brunelleschi: Age of Architects is a free to play web strategy game released at the beginning of 2014 by Aesop Games[1], a small company based in Port Angeles, Washington. The game is set in the 'Mythic Renaissance', a time period resembling the historical Florentine Renaissance but lacking the striations in gender and race that were common to that period. The game is programmed using the Symfony PHP Framework and can be played in almost any web browser. In 2010, a prototype of Brunelleschi was launched, and attracted some minor attention from the gaming press before being returned to closed development [2]
