Career
Born in Estrela in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul, Jackel began his career in the academy of Grêmio, before joining Chapecoense. He was promoted to the first team in 2018.[2] In February 2019, following one appearance for Chapecoense in the Campeonato Catarinense, Jackel was loaned to Novo Hamburgo.[3]
Following his departure from Chapecoense, Jackel was announced as a new player for Rio Branco of Paranaguá, Paraná, ahead of the 2020 season.[4] However, despite this announcement - made in November 2019 - Jackel would instead sign with Avenida in January 2020.[5] In March 2021, he moved to Poland, signing with third division club Polonia Piotrków.[6]
After a short spell with Lajeadense, with whom he featured four times in the Campeonato Gaúcho Série A2, Jackel joined Coruripe for the 2023 season.[7][8]
Personal life
Jackel holds both Brazilian and German citizenship.[6]
