Bute Energy Limited[1] is a renewable energy development company based in Wales. Founded in 2018, the company focuses on developing onshore wind farms across Wales. They are currently developing 12 sites mainly in mid Wales, in Powys. The company predicts that by 2035 their sites could contribute 25% of the total electricity demand of Wales.[2]

Their sites will contain between 6 and 55 wind turbines up to 200m in height.

Their proposed site Bryn Rhudd Energy Park has been combined with Lan Fawr.[3]

Twyn Hywel Energy Park is currently the only site whose development has begun, and is expected to be generating energy by late 2027.[4]
