Campaign of Freedom of four diplomats
At the same time with Quds Day 2016 and on the eve of the thirty-fourth anniversary of Iranian diplomats kidnapping, the second campaign to release victims of the longest hostage in human history, began its activity. Cultural and Artistic Institute named ambassador of peace and justice, designer and executor of this campaign, in addition to condemning the Israel's behavior is inconsistent with international law, were demanding from the civilian and military officials as well as international organizations that use all their facility for the freedom of the loved ones.[1]

Ahmad Motevaselian, military attaché for Iran’s embassy in Beirut; Seyed Mohsen Mousavi, chargé d'affaires at the embassy; Taghi Rastegar Moghadam, an embassy employee; and [[Kazem Akhavan, a photographer for an Iranian news agency, despite diplomatic immunity, abducted at a checkpoint in northern Lebanon by a group of gunmen belonging to Israel-backed militia forces headed by Samir Geagea on July 5, 1982.[2][3] Iranian officials believe that they handed over to Israel after they kidnapped and are still alive and being held in Israeli territory.[4]

Seyed Raed Mousavi, son of Seyed Mohsen Mousavi, referring to the popular campaign for the release of four Iranian diplomats said: "Because of public concern for release of Iranian diplomats, a campaign with the #Free4Diplomats hashtag, Began its activity in social networks to more targeting the people's demands."
Mousavi said that the purpose of formation of this campaign is demanding from Zionist regime and its supporters: "The main demand of the campaign is from the Zionist regime and its supporters, Which contrary to all international law refuses to responsiveness in this regard."
Son of former Iranian chargé d'affaires in Beirut, attributed importance of this campaign to alive the memory of the four diplomats And said: " Although several years have taken away from this topic ,but formation of such campaigns can increase incentive of officials for the serious pursuit." He continued: "Because 4 diplomats at the hands of the Zionist regime, formation of such campaigns would be reminded to officials that in any future prisoner exchange, one of the main priorities is determination of fate of 4 iranian diplomats."
Sayed Raed Mousavi, in the end, said that presence of people in this campaign is very important, he added: " I asked people to take part in this campaign and help us in the freedom of the loved ones.[5]

Producer and crew of "Standing in the Dust" on thirty-fourth anniversary of the kidnapping of 4 Iranian diplomats in Lebanon, invited people to watching the film in cinema as well as electronic signature a letter available on the website of the film which written to the Minister of Foreign Affairs. In this letter that written collaboration with members of the families of kidnapped diplomats, has asked Mohammad-Javad Zarif to take serious actions and make every effort to find fresh news about the four Iranian diplomats. They also asked from their audience that publish the picture of their tickets with #standinginthedust and #Free4Diplomats hashtags in cyberspace.[6][7]
Kamal Tabrizi, Iranian film director, referring to the campaign for freedom of four diplomats, said: by watching "Standing in the Dust", the audience feel responsible to join this campaign and ask the officials about the fate of Ahmad Motevaselian and three other compatriots and ask them to do more consultations in this regard. He stressed: Encourage people by artists and filmmakers and asking from the audience for watch the movie, will cause that more people join to campaign and more people want that reliable news on this subject is given to them after 34 years.[8]
weekly bulletin, Katte-e Hezbollah (The Line of Hezbollah) in its 39th edition, has published statements by the leader of the revolution, about Haj Ahmad Motevasselian, in December 1996; Ayatollah Khamenei said: We are looking forward to Hajj Ahmad Motovasselian’s return, God willing. Don’t call him a martyr; we have not been informed of his martyrdom. May God bestow His mercy and blessings upon your son, wherever and in whatever condition, he may be. We pray that God will return this believing and righteous young man to us. Yes, Hajj Ahmad Motovasselian was a friend, comrade, and colleague of Hajj Hemmat; May God bestow His mercy upon them all.[9]

Early in June 2016, news sites quoting Brigadier General Hossein Dehghan (Minister of Defense) said: "Sardar Ahmad Motevaselian and three other Iranian diplomats are alive and they are in captivity Zionist regime".
It was about three months later that Mohsen Rezaee, secretary of the Expediency Council, wrote in a Tweet on his personal Twitter account: Recently obtained informations from Haj Ahmad Motevaselian and we hope to end in something by this clues. Former Revolutionary Guards commander also stressed that "we are more hopeful than in the past."
Javad Karimi-Ghodousi, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, with Confirming two above propositions, says to correspondent of the Mizan online News Agency: "No regime and no country, if possession of such important people, do not think about killing them in hiding, because the death of this prominent and important characters will be useless to them. therefore, my analysis is that Israel used all their effort to keep alive Haj Ahmad Motevaselian and his companions to use them as a privilege."
Abolfazl Hasan Beigi, former Advisor to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces and the Vice-Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, with confirming the above statements, referring to negotiations for the release of kidnapped Iranian diplomats Said to the Mizan online news agency: "The Islamic Republic of Iran always has followed the freedom of Haj Ahmad Motevaselian under each circumstances; the reason for this is that some of the prisoners who released from Zionist regime prisons, had seen them in years and even the last two years."
According to statements of Mojtaba Zonnour, a member of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Iranian Parliament, Islamic Republic of Iran has documents that confirm viability of Haj Ahmad Motevaselian and his companions until the beginning of the summer of 2016. In these documents, turns out the place of captivity of Haj Ahmad Motevaselian and his companion.[10]
