After a total loss of revenue during the early stages of the corona crisis, sales records were set in the summer of 2020 due to the hygienic benefits of camping.[7]
In 2021 Camptoo acquired the platform Out2Camp, which was the first sharing economy platform for campervans in the Nordics.[8]
Services
Car owners can rent out their caravan, motorhome or campervan to third parties through Camptoo, in exchange for financial compensation. A 15% commission is paid on the earnings.[9]
