Andrea Chiarini is an Italian Guitarist, best known as Candyboy [1]. He studied and graduated in classical guitar at the G.B. Pergolesi of Fermo, Italy. He was hosted for a tour of Mexico by the Facultad de Música de la Universidad Veracruzana in 2008.[2] In 2014 he reached number one in the top ten chart of iTunes with the song "Il Rock é Morto" under the pseudonym of Capitan America.[3]. He was an author for Universal Music Group by publishing "Archistar N.13" under the pseudonym of Dobro in 2017 [4] [5], in the same year he won the Donida Prize as best author and composer dedicated to Carlo Donida [6] [7]. He composed the soundtrack for the mini television series "Death Funky" [8] [9]. He was reviewed by Norway Rock Magazine and Metal Hammer [10] as one of the most interesting modern guitarists alongside names like Buckethead and John5[11] and was nominated as Best Horror Guitarist by Scream Horror Magazine[12]. He won the Golden Award 2022 in the Professional Category, for the best performance of Niccolò Paganini's Guitar Work.[13]
