The company was founded in July 2006 in Fremont, California by Alok Bhatia,[1] a West Virginia University Graduate on Computer Science. History[edit]
Operations of Canvas InfoTech Inc. started in July 2006 at Union City, California with a staff of just 3 people and 5 candidates. Now headquartered at Fremont, California 94538, Canvas Info Tech also has offices in Sunnyvale, California and India. Alok Bhatia, after completing his Masters in Computer Science from West Virginia University, realized that Business Analysis, Quality Assessment and Project Management is "a lot of common sense wrapped up in jargon".[3] In lieu of this realization he decided to make people from all walks of life understand IT and appreciate it so that they could get IT jobs, thus Canvas Info Tech Inc. was born.
