Romagosa began working in 1997 as a coach for the FC Barcelona Youth Academy Teams,[11] then becoming director of the FC Barcelona School teams a year later.[12] He continued to coach the FCB Youth Teams and direct the FCB School teams until 2001, when he became a Professor at the University of Vic in 2003 and has continued his work there through the present.[13]

From 2008 to 2010, he was the Technical Sub-Director for the Catalan Football Federation. During this period he collaborated with many clubs and players while also educating coaches around Catalonia.[14] Romagosa worked with the Johan Cruyff Institute to develop training courses,[15] advised the director of the Science and Sports Department of C.F.
