Carrie F. Shepherd (born January 13, 1971) is an American fantasy novelist.
Early life and education
Shepherd was born in the West Valley City neighborhood of Salt Lake City, Utah. She began creating her debut novel as a teenager; her writing was heavily influenced by ancient Greek and Native American theology.[2] Shepherd graduated with an MBA from the University of Phoenix in 2003 and relocated to Highland Ranch, Colorado. Career
While living in Colorado, Shepherd independently published her debut novel The Scribing of Ishitar: Fall From Grace, the first novel of the "Scribing of Ishitar" series. After publishing her second book, Ashes to Ashes, Shepherd was offered a publishing contract with Mythos Press.[3] She participated in the 2015 Author and Reader Convention in New Orleans.[4] She is currently living again in Salt Lake City and is involved in writing the third installment of "The Scribing of Ishitar" series.[citation needed]
