Cassettes is an American rock band from Philadelphia, PA. Since forming in 2014 they have released one EP and one full length album.

Their debut LP, Wild Heart, was recorded at The Lumberyard in Hammonton, NJ with producers Ace Enders (The Early November) & Nik Bruzzese and mixed by Vince Ratti. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign it was released January 25, 2019 on digital music services and limited edition colored vinyl. It has been described as "high energy 80s-flavored pop" and "an earnest love letter to the 90s era of pop-rock that dominated the airwaves."[1] The first single "Born in the 90s" has garnered radio airplay and support with Cassettes appearing live on WRFF and being named WMMR's artist of the month.[2][3] Their music has also been featured on podcasts including Chris Demakes A Podcast (hosted by Chris Demakes of Less Than Jake) who called them "totally 80s" and Jonah Raydio who described the band as "Huey Lewis doing pop-punk."[4][5]
