Cassettes is an American rock band from Philadelphia, PA.
Their debut LP, Wild Heart, was recorded at The Lumberyard in Hammonton, NJ with producers Ace Enders (The Early November) & Nik Bruzzese and mixed by Vince Ratti. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign it was released January 25, 2019 on digital music services and limited edition colored vinyl.[1] It has been described as "high energy 80s-flavored pop" and "an earnest love letter to the 90s era of pop-rock that dominated the airwaves."[2] The first single, "Born in the 90s", and its accompanying lyric video has garnered radio airplay and support with Cassettes appearing live on WRFF, being named WMMR's artist of the month and receiving a mention on The Nerdist Podcast.
