Cbazaar is an ethnic fashion portal owned by Net Avenue Technologies Private Limited, headquartered in Chennai.

History[edit]

Cbazaar, previously known as Chennaibazaar.com,[1] started their operations in 1998 Started out in online gifting in India and later forayed into apparels for women, men, and children. Chennai Bazaar was later renamed as Cbazaar in the year 2005. [2] Cbazaar mainly sells their products to people of South Asian and Indian origin settled outside India. The products are delivered to more than 150 countries.[3]

In May 2012, Inventus Capital Partners and Ojas Venture Partners invested $3.5 million in Cbazaar. At present, the online shopping portal houses one of the largest ranges of Indian couture, with more than 15,000 items. On an average, over 100 designs are added every day.[citation needed] In 2017, they launched their new line called EthnoVogue.

Cbazaar is based in Chennai, India, and also has offices in the United States of America, United Kingdom and Australia. The company holds trademark registration in the US and the UK.[4]
