cbs Corporate Business Solutions Unternehmensberatung GmbH is a global consulting firm headquartered in Heidelberg. The company specialises in the design of end-to-end business processes, enterprise solutions based on SAP software and cloud technology, as well as the transformation of data and ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) for industrial customers from the mechanical and plant engineering, pharmaceutical, chemical, automotive, life science and medical technology sectors.

cbs was founded in 1995 by Harald Sulovsky and Tarek Kramer under the name microsap.[2] The following year, cbs moved into an office in Heidelberg for the first time and opened a branch in Munich. In 1997, the company changed its name to cbs Corporate Business Solutions. In 2005, cbs became part of the IT service provider Materna.[3] In 2018, the company moved to new premises in Heidelberg's "Bahnstadt".[4]In 2021, company founder Harald Sulovsky retired early. Rainer Wittwen then took over the position of CEO.[5]
Corporate structure[edit]
cbs has been part of Dortmund-based Materna since 2005. In 2014, cbs acquired the logistics specialist and cloud provider leogistics from Hamburg.[6]In spring 2022, cbs acquired the manufacturing and IoT specialist Trebing + Himstedt.[7]>In total, cbs has ten offices in Germany, six other locations in Europe, three in the USA and one each in Singapore, Malaysia and Japan.
