Cervera Real Estate is a Miami-based real estate brokerage founded in 1969 by Peruvian-born broker Alicia Cervera Sr. The company specializes in condominium sales and development marketing, and has been described as one of the most influential firms in shaping Miami’s high-rise residential market.[1] In August 2021, the firm was awarded affiliate membership in both Leading Real Estate Companies of the World (LeadingRE) and Luxury Portfolio International (LPI), expanding its global referral network and marketing reach.[2]
Founding and Company History
Cervera Real Estate was founded in 1969 by Alicia Cervera Sr., who emigrated to Miami from Peru in the 1960s.[3] The firm was one of the first in Miami to focus on condominium and developer sales.[4] Cervera Sr., sometimes called the "Queen of Brickell," helped revitalize neighborhoods such as Brickell, Coconut Grove, and South Beach.[5] By 2022, the company had eight offices and more than 300 agents.[6] The company remains family-operated: Cervera Sr. serves as chair, while her daughters Veronica Cervera Goeseke (CEO) and Alicia Cervera Lamadrid (Managing Partner) lead daily operations.[7]
Services
The firm provides services in:
- Pre-development advisory (market research, design consultation, feasibility studies)
- Development sales and marketing (sales strategies, pricing, CRM management, closings)
- Creative and digital marketing (branding, events, PR, campaigns)
- General brokerage (resale, leasing, investment services)
- Property management (tenant relations, maintenance, owner representation)
Cervera Real Estate is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World.[8]
Major Development Projects
The firm has served as exclusive broker for multiple Miami condominiums. In 1981, it won the contract for The Palace on Brickell, followed by The Atlantis, noted for its five-story palm court “hole” featured in Miami Vice.[9] Other projects included Imperial at Brickell, Villa Regina, and Bristol Tower.
The company has represented more than 115 condominium towers, working with 85 developers.[10] By 2022, Alicia Cervera Sr. alongside her daughters Alicia Cervera Lamadrid Jr. and Veronika Cervera Goeseke grand had sold more than 70,000 residential units totaling about $21 billion in volume.[11] Recent projects include Aston Martin Residences, the Ritz-Carlton Residences in Coconut Grove, and the St. Regis Bal Harbour.[12]
Related Cervera Realty Services Joint Venture
In 2000, the Cervera family partnered with developer Jorge Pérez and the Related Group to form Related Cervera Realty Services (RCRS).[13] Led by Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, the venture sold more than 14,600 condo units worth $6.8 billion before ending in 2010.[14] In 2008 alone, during the financial crisis, RCRS closed more than $720 million in developer sales.[15]
Recognition
In 2016, the City of Miami proclaimed October 18 as "Alicia Cervera Day".[16] In 2022, Miami-Dade County co-designated a portion of South Miami Avenue as "Alicia Cervera Way".[17] In 2023, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the South Florida Business Journal.[18]
Alicia Cervera Lamadrid received the Legacy Award from the Miami Master Brokers Forum in 2020[19] and has been listed as a "Power Leader in Real Estate" multiple times by the South Florida Business Journal.[20] Veronica Cervera Goeseke has been profiled in The Real Deal for her leadership and role in major transactions.[21]

The company and its leadership have been profiled widely. The Miami Herald published a 2020 cover story on three generations of the Cervera family.[22] The South Florida Business Journal has run multiple features on the firm’s leadership and awards.[23] The Real Deal and other trade outlets have profiled leadership and projects,[24] while Florida Trend named Alicia Cervera Sr. a "Florida Icon" in 2022.[25]
