Chanda Lynette Tresvant (born February 19, 1998) popularly known as Trapanesechik, is an African-American and Native American model, singer, rapper, and actress.
Career
Tresvant began acting while she was still in Zane Grey High School. She took acting coaching classes from Betty Bridges. She later got an email from a director for a music video, Everybody in the club Getting shot by the Rapper Father, which later aired on MTV. Her music career was launched after receiving several requests for music videos and cameos, which she decided to pursue and began working with artists including Rapper Father, YG, Nipsey Hussle, Young Dolph, Ne-Yo, and G Perico.
In 2017, Tresvant stepped away from music video appearances, released her debut single, and began doing her own music videos. Her first performance was in Atlanta in front of 30,000 people in 2019 at the Sweet Auburn Fest. In addition, she opened for Griselda’s Benny The Butcher at the Fox Theater, Pomona, California, with her title as Queen of The Westcoast solidified. She then released a new single alongside Atlanta artist, Derro.
Tresvant is also a professional runway model who has participated in the Global Film Festival, which aired in China.
Controversy
In 2021, Tresvant's single, What He Looking For caused controversy with the actor, Taye Diggs, when they made a TikTok voiceover video on a sound Women should date older men and rob them. The netizens took it seriously and linked it with her dating the actor.
