Charles Eugene “Geno” Marsala (born June 13, 1960) is an American politician[1] and cultural leader,[2] and current President of the Southeast Italian Federation [3] who served as Mayor of Atherton, California[4] [5]from 2005-2006. A Republican, Charles Marsala[6] served two terms on the Atherton City Council from 2002-2010 and was Vice-Mayor during 2004-2005. Former Mayor, US Senate Candidate, and remarkable film producer Charles E. Marsala[7] resides in his native Louisiana focusing on American historical writing,[8] protecting cultural history,[9] and environmental civic leadership.[10][11][12] Italian cultural leader Charles E. Marsala is reported to be under consideration for the vacant New Orleans City Council seat.[13]
