Chinmaya Vidyalaya Vadavalli[edit]
Chinmaya Vidyalayas are run under the auspices of the Central Chinmaya Mission Trust (CCMT), Mumbai, in different parts of the country. Founded by Swami Chinmayananda and headed by Swami Tejomayananda. There are more than 80 Chinmaya Vidyalayas across 12 states in India and one in Trinidad. They emphasise the learning of scriptures. The Vidyalaya in each place is administered by a Managing Committee, consisting of representatives of Chinmaya Mission Centers and eminent personalities and educationalists.
This Vidyalaya is a unit of Chinmaya Mission Educational Trust, (Coimbatore) which also controls all other Vidyalayas all over Tamil Nadu. The CCMT Education Cell is the governing body of the Chinmaya Education Movement, and is headquartered at 'Chinmaya Gardens' in Coimbatore, India.

The lamp in India always represents Knowledge. The mythical swan is said to have the ability to separate milk from water. The swan in the emblem represents the ability to distinguish between right and wrong, matter and spirit. Knowledge helps us make the right choices and reach the highest.
On the right below the information box is the flag of Chinmaya Vidyalayas. The globe stands for a universal outlook.
Curriculum[edit]
The Vidyalaya is affiliated to the State Board of Secondary Education . In accordance with the Samacheer Kalvi - Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation, the Vidyalaya Endeavour's to provide holistic education to the students which meets their physical, mental, emotional and intellectual growth. The students are given training in such varied activities like yoga, music, art & craft and classical dance contemporarily. The spiritual well being of the students are ensured through Chinmaya Vision Programme (CVP), which include a variety of activities like chanting of Holy Gita, celebration of various national festivals, mathru pooja, Gurupoornima etc. The modern eon is the age of computers. To face the world with confidence and courage, the present generation needs to be made computer savvy. To cater to this need of the students, the Vidyalaya follows HSIEDU - Hi-end software integrated in partner relationships with Bharathiar University and HCL Smart Class for classes K.G to XII. Advancement in technology have greatly revolutionized the teaching-learning process. Use of smart board technology promotes optimum results.
Chinmaya Vision Programme[edit]
Chinmaya Vision Programme (CVP) is a comprehensive educational programme for our schools, which integrates the best in our culture and philosophy with academic education. It aims at giving the future citizens of our country a true vision of life, to help them face challenges in a positive and dynamic manner and heartily contribute to society.
The child is the focal point of this programme. The programme also embraces the school management, teachers and parents. Through them, the light of this vision spreads to the society, country and the world at large. CVP can be identified under four heads.
