Chirag Falor (born 26 August 2002) is an Indian scholar from Pune, Maharashtra. Falor is known for achieving first rank nationally in JEE Advanced 2020[1][2][3] and winning gold medal in IOAA 2019.[4][5][6] He was conferred the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar by the President of India in 2020.[7][8] Falor is currently an undergraduate student pursuing physics and mathematics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.[9][10][11]

Early Life[edit]

Falor was born in Kolkata, India on 26 August 2002 and spent his early childhood with his grandparents.[12] His parents are Pawan Kumar Falor, a software development manager, and Pooja Devi Falor.[13] He grew up in Pune, Maharashtra and studied in St. Arnold's Central School till tenth grade.[14] He shifted to Delhi at Pragati Public School to "focus on studies" in 11th and 12th grade.[15][16]
