Choudhary Mohammad Yasin is an Indian Administrative Service officer and the current Deputy Commissioner / District Magistrate of Shopian a part of South Kashmir region of J&K Union Territory.[3][4]
He is a 2015 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from Jammu and Kashmir cadre and hails from Jammu District of J&K.[5][6]
Early life and education[edit]
Choudhary Mohammad Yasin was born in Chowadi village of Jammu on 25 August 1990 . He did his early schooling from Jammu.[7] Yasin belongs to Gurjar tribe of Jammu and Kashmir who get into IAS at the age of 24.[8][9] From 2014 to till date served as, Sub Divisional Magistrate Gool, Reasi Sub Divisional Magistrate, Ghulab Garh, Add Deputy Commissioner Pulwama at present he is serving as Deputy Commissioner Shopiyan.[10]
