Christi Reeves Tasker is an American marketing consultant and entrepreneur. She is the creative director of the lifestyle brand Christi Tasker and the founder of the travel blog P.S. This Rocks.[1][2]

Early life[edit]

Tasker was raised in Suwanee, Georgia.[3] Her grandfather, Hammond B. Davis, was a World War II veteran.[4]

Business career[edit]

Tasker co-founded her first interior design firm with her mother in 1999.[5] In 2010, She moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, and founded Tasker Agency, a branding and marketing firm. Three years later, she won the Cox Communications Tech Exec Award for Community Exemplary for using social media marketing to boost tourism in Las Vegas.[6]

Tasker moved to Miami, Florida with her husband Boyd Tasker, in 2015. The couple founded an event space for luxury market product showcases in the Wynwood Art District, which they named Wynwood Lab.[7]Tasker also started Casa Wynwood, as the interior design venue for the Christi Tasker product and interior design firm.[8]

In 2016, The LAB Miami, a co-working and event space in the Wynwood area, sued the Taskers for using the “Lab” name. The suit was settled out of court, and Wynwood Lab later established itself as an online gallery marketplace for artists selling original artwork. Today, the Wynwood Lab brand is licensed to Wynwood Art, LLC.[9]

Personal life[edit]

Tasker married Boyd Tasker in 2012. The Taskers live in Brickell, Miami.[10][11]

Tasker ventured into city politics in February 2023, running for a seat in the Miami Board of Commissioners District 2.[12] As of June 2023, Tasker is among the Miami politicians calling for the resignation of Miami Commissioner Joe Carollo.[13][14]
