"Christmas at St. Bear's Doll's Hospital" is a 2005 Christmas film of St. Bear's Doll Hospital starring Neil Sterenberg as Nurse Penny Cillin, and her namesake Penny Cilliers that aired on PBS Kids on December 6, 2005.

In November 16, 2011, it was packaged with Bananas In Pyjamas: Bumping and a-Jumping (2006) as a Nurse Penny’s Musical Masterpieces Double Feature DVD.

This movie parodies elements of the hit film March of the Penguins[1][2][3](the same year, 2005) with Bumping and a-Jumping (2006).

Plot[edit]

In this TV movie, Nurse Penny Cillin loves penguins a lot. She takes care of lots of penguins.

So, Today, Nurse Penny wears garland on her body, tap shoes on her feet and diamonds sparkling on her toes to celebrate toe-tapping Christmas and she taps her heart out and tap dances every month. She also sings her tap dances songs that she can tap.

In the whimsical world of Wiggle World, where joy and creativity thrive, the holiday season is in full swing as everyone enjoys ice skating at the Indoor Wiggly World Skating Rink. However, the festive spirit takes a sudden turn when little Jenny, an adventurous girl with an infectious smile, gets dizzy and collapses due to appendicitis. Her friends, Emily LeDuc and James McDonald, quickly rush to her side, and together they inform her worried parents, Mr. Man and Mrs. Lady, about the urgent need for medical attention. The next day, Jenny finds herself at St. Bear’s Dolls Hospital, where Nurse Penny, a quirky and dedicated caregiver, is determined to lift her spirits. Dressed in garlands and sparkling decorations, she tap dances her way through the hospital, bringing laughter and cheer to all the patients, especially Jenny. As Nurse Penny taps her heart out, she serenades the young girl with enchanting songs, reminding her of the magical fairy tale where she once kissed a frog and became a princess. Inspired by Nurse Penny's infectious energy, Jenny dreams of hosting a Christmas Ball with her new friends—the charming penguins who reside at the hospital's whimsical ward. There's Ernesto the Emperor Penguin, who loves to waltz; Lucy the Chinstrap Penguin, the sassy dancer; Nicolette the Gentoo Penguin, known for her grace; Andy the Adélie Penguin, the joker; Simon the Macaroni Penguin, the singer; and Kelly the Magellanic Penguin, the artist. Together, they bring a unique flair to the celebration. As Nurse Penny helps Jenny and her penguin pals transform the hospital’s ballroom into a winter wonderland, they face various comical challenges that test their creativity and teamwork. From crafting decorations from hospital supplies to planning delightful dance routines, the group's bond grows stronger with every obstacle they overcome. The Christmas Ball becomes a spectacular event filled with laughter, music, and heartwarming performances. As the penguins and Nurse Penny dance together, they showcase the importance of friendship, resilience, and the joy of giving during the holiday season. In a heartwarming conclusion, Jenny's spirit is rejuvenated, and she realizes that even in tough times, the warmth of friendship and community can light up the darkest days. As the film wraps up, the characters celebrate together, reminding everyone that the true magic of Christmas lies in love, laughter, and togetherness at St. Bear’s Dolls Hospital.
