Jeremy Scrivener (born 19 November 1977) is an Australian actor, dancer and singer. He is best known for his appearances on the television series Bananas in Pyjamas. Jeremy was a student of the National Institute of Dramatic Art in Sydney, from which he graduated in 1990. He began working in children’s entertainment ever since.

Early life and Career

Since the original Mary Poppins series was cancelled, Scrivener and his sister Wilma gave up after her diagnosis of pneumonia and he decided to be in the cast of musical Singin' in the Rain as Don Lockwood with his sister Vanessa as Kathy Selden between 2001 and 2002.

In 2002, Scrivener presented with his very own umbrella at the Australian opening of a Broadway musical before Bananas in Pyjamas debuted on April 7, 2003.

While on Bananas in Pyjamas, Scrivener decided to be in the cast of musical 42nd Street as Billy Lawlor with his sister Vanessa as Peggy Sawyer and presented with their very own two pairs of tap shoes following the Australian revival of the Broadway hit at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in his role as a representative of Bear Cottage Children's Hospices in 2004. After his cousin Wilma died of a pulmonary embolism on January 24, 2004, her remains were cremated and her ashes were placed in an urn with colored musical notes.
