History
In 1998, Chakkilam Infotech Ltd., an IT and software services company was founded by C V Subramanyam. Cigniti Inc. was acquired by the company in September 2011.[7]
In 2014, the company expanded its operations in the United Kingdom by opening an office in London. The organisation was rated at Level 5 of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) by the CMMI Institute in 2015.[8]
In 2021, it opened an office in the Czech Republic.[9]
Cigniti paid $4.8 million to acquire Aparaa Digital (RoundSqr).[10]
Philanthropy
In March 2023, Cigniti donated medical equipment to The MNJ Institute of Oncology Regional Cancer Center, Hyderabad.[11]
In June 2023, Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology and Cigniti entered into a memorandum of understanding to launch a training programme for IT students.[12]
