Ciiva started its operations in 2012 in Luzern, Switzerland. The first prototype for Ciiva was created in 2010 and was initially used as an internal tool in an embedded computing company for managing electronic components, product BOMs and electronic component search. It was released to the public in 2013.

Products and Services[edit]

Ciiva offers products and services targeted at product development companies, electronic design companies, OEM, EMS providers, and any other company or individual that uses electronic components as part of a product. The Bill of Materials Management software is a client-server based collaborative platform designed to help users structure and organize their component and BOM data. The BOM Management software is fully integrated with the Electronic Component Search Engine provides customers easy access to information such as pricing and availability, datasheet, lifecycle and alternative component information.
