Claire McVey

Claire McVey is the name of a English teenager from Ilfracombe, North Devon[1] who died at the age of 15 in January 2000 from vCJD, just six months after taking ill. In September 2002, she was the youngest recorded victim of vCJD.[2] By July 2019, she was still believed to be the youngest recorded UK victim of vCJD.[3]
