Coconut Cay Cocktail Company is an American, privately owned and operated ready to drink beverage manufacturer in Sausalito, California and founded in 2017 that produces and markets the ready to drink coconut water and vodka cocktail SkyJuice. It is currently being produced in Fairfield, California at Frank-Lin Distillers and is distributed by Southern Wine and Spirits.

Coconut Cay Cocktail Company was founded by Joan Schriger and John Jack after developing the formula and branding for the company's flagship product, SkyJuice. The ready to drink cocktail is based off the Bahamian cocktail sky juice, which shares the same name. Founder Joan Schriger stumbled upon the local-favorite sky juice while spending time in the Bahamas and was enamored with the flavor and backstory of the product.
The original sky juice drink is a pride of the Bahamian locals because of its delicious taste and overall popularity with the Nassau population. Sometimes served with island spices cinnamon and nutmeg, sky juice is traditionally created in large batches and served in Styrofoam cups over ice.
The origin of the name "sky juice" is still unknown to this day, with some locals claiming it is "because coconuts come from the sky" or "because if you drink too much you wake up looking at the sky."
Unable to find the drink anywhere in the U.S. upon her return, Schriger partnered with John Jack to create the Coconut Cay SkyJuice found in stores today. Deviating from the original sky juice ingredients of fresh coconut water, sweet dairy notes of condensed milk, and gin, Coconut Cay SkyJuice boasts a healthier recipe of organic coconut water, vodka, tropical botanicals, and natural sweeteners to create a product that is high in flavor and low in calories (53 calories per can).

Future Expansion[edit]
There are several flavor variations of SkyJuice currently under production to accompany the popular health-centered cocktail. These new flavors and interstate expansion within the United States are planned for the remainder of 2018.
