Colleen McGill is a Canadian interior designer.[1] She is a principal in the architectural and interior design firm McGill Design Group Inc., based in Toronto.
In 2012 McGill launched her own furniture line called Plum Furniture [2] which features a collection of upholstered furniture along with case goods and accessories.[3]
Elle Decor (USA) Magazine's editorial feature titled "What's Hot" has featured two of Colleen McGill's Plum Furniture pieces, the first in August 2015 [4] and again in the June 2016 issue. Her work has also been featured in House Beautiful. [5]
Colleen McGill is included in Designers House along with Aerin Lauder, Celerie Kemble, Alexa Hampton, Thom Filicia and Suzanne Kasler - a site which showcases designers work and their collections.[6]
In an October 2014 segment called "Inside Design" Canada's Style at Home Magazine interviewed Colleen McGill. [7]
McGill appeared in the book titled "Spectacular Homes of Toronto" [8] and Toronto Life Magazine consults her to provide decorating advice to its readers.[9]

Colleen McGill grew up in the Westmount area of Montreal but was born in Kingston, Jamaica while her father John McGill was there helping to start Air Jamaica on behalf of Air Canada where he worked as an Executive Vice President.[10]
McGill attended the private school Miss Edgar's and Miss Cramp's School in Montreal before first earning a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Western Ontario[11] and then graduating with her bachelor's degree in Interior Design from Ryerson University in Toronto.[12]
